  • About Summer Sounds on the Green

    Summer Sounds on the Green brings great music to the Village Green across the street from the NOW Arena on select Thursdays during the summer months. The music varies from rock, pop, soul, big band, country and more! The venue provides a Ravinia-like experience with a large lawn area that offers plenty of space for concert-goers to set up foldable chairs and picnic areas. Don't feel like packing your own eats and drinks? See below for some of the great concessions the Village Green offers!


    All concerts begin at 7pm on the Village Green.


    Bring a picnic! Coolers, food, drinks, chairs, blankets, small tables and almost anything else are allowed for you to enjoy the concert. Seating is first come, first serve so come out early and find a spot to enjoy the evening. Food and beverage is for sale on the premises! 


    Handicap parking is available off of Prairie Stone Parkway with a golf cart for assistance.


     Parents: please do not allow your children to climb the amphitheater walls or the rocks by the stage and lake.

    performances are at the VILLAGE GREEN PAVILION, located across the street (Prairie Stone Pkwy) from the NOW ARENA. Below, you'll find some basic directions.


    FROM THE TOLLWAY

    From the west - Exit I-90 at Route 59. Turn left onto 59 and cross over the tollway. Turn left at the next light, Hoffman Blvd. Take Hoffman Blvd just past Duluth Trading Company and turn right onto Pratum Ave. Go past the first stop sign and turn left into the parking lot. 


    From the east - Exit I-90 at Route 59. Continue straight onto Hoffman Blvd. Take Hoffman Blvd just past Duluth Trading Company and turn right onto Pratum Ave. Go past the first stop sign and turn left into the parking lot. 



    FOR GPS USERS

    To get GPS directions to the general parking lot, enter 5450 Prairie Stone Pkwy, Hoffman Estates, IL 60192. 


    To get GPSn directions to  handicap parking, enter 5550 Prairie Stone Pkwy, Hoffman Estates, IL 60192 and be sure to turn in where you see the police vehicle parked off of Prairie Stone Parkway.

  • Handicapped Parking

    Handicapped parking is west of the venue. The parking lot is shared with Salvation Army and Wells Fargo. Only those cars with handicap placards may park there. Follow the sidewalks east to the venue. The Village of Hoffman Estates complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). For accessibility assistance, call the ADA coordinator at 847-882-9100.


    Golf carts are available to shuttle those who need help getting to the hill.


    For those seeking to park in handicap parking, enter the destination of 5550 Prairie Stone Pkwy, Hoffman Estates, IL 60192 and be sure to turn in where you see the police vehicle parked off of Prairie Stone Parkway.

The ESO became a professional orchestra in 1985 and has since developed a reputation for artistic excellence, innovative programming, and a deep commitment to the social advocacy and economic development of the diverse community it serves. In recognition of programming excellence, artistic quality, and leadership, the Illinois Council of Orchestras awarded the ESO ‘Orchestra of the Year’ honors in 1988, 1999, 2005, and 2016 – the first four-time winner.   The 2023/24 season marks conductor Chad Goodman’s inaugural season as Music Director of the Elgin Symphony Orchestra.  This concert features members of the ESO brass section.
